Curtorim: A case of assault has been registered at the Maina Curtorim Police Station following a complaint filed by Husenbadsha Nadaf, a resident of Curtorim.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred on December 8, 2025, prior to 10.30 am at Ralloi, Curtorim. The complainant alleged that accused Paul Fernandes, a resident of Ralloi, Curtorim, along with his labourer, assaulted his brother, Mehboob Nadaf, a resident of Nessai, with a danda, acting with common intention.
The assault reportedly took place in a fit of anger, resulting in serious injuries to Mehboob Nadaf, who is currently undergoing medical treatment at the Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim.
Police have registered the case, and further investigation is being carried out by LPSI Veronica Coutinho of the Maina Curtorim Police Station.
