Verna: Verna Police have registered a case following the seizure of prohibited e-cigarettes from a person at Zuarinagar.
According to police, the complaint was lodged by Parshuram Sudrik, a resident of Zari, Zuarinagar.
The incident occurred on January 7, 2026, at around 8.05 pm, when the accused, identified as Shoheb Mohamad Nadaf, a resident of Haveli, Pune, Maharashtra, was found in possession of 15 e-cigarettes, suspected to be prohibited items.
The seized e-cigarettes are valued at approximately ₹40,000.
Further investigation in the case is being carried out by HC 5763 Sandeep Naik of Verna Police Station.
