PERNEM: Pernem Police have registered a case against Nilesh Dharma Patekar, a resident of Oxelbag, Dhargal, for allegedly assaulting and molesting a woman during a property-related dispute.
According to the complaint lodged by the victim, a housewife from Oxelbag, the incident occurred on November 3, 2025, between 9:15 am and 9:30 am.
The accused allegedly pulled the complainant to the ground by her hair, assaulted her with fist blows on her nose, and then caught hold of her, inappropriately touched her, and attempted to tear her clothes, thereby outraging her modesty.
The complainant further stated that the accused also abused her with filthy language and threatened to kill her over a property dispute.
The offence was registered at 23:58 hours on the same day at Pernem Police Station, and the investigation is being conducted by PSI Tukaram Chodankar.
