DAVORLIM: Margao Police have registered a case against a man for allegedly trespassing into a woman’s house, abusing her and her daughter, and damaging household property during an altercation
According to the complaint filed by the victim, a resident of Davorlim, the incident occurred around 8:30 pm on November 22, when the accused, Willy Fernandes, a resident of Tembi, Raia, allegedly broke open and damaged the main door of her house before forcefully entering.
Inside the premises, the accused allegedly abused the woman and her daughter in filthy language, outraged the woman’s modesty by calling her derogatory names, and threatened her with dire consequences.
He also reportedly damaged household articles and personal belongings, causing financial loss. The dispute is said to have arisen over issues related to the relationship between the accused and the complainant’s daughter.
The case is being investigated by LPSI Sonal Gaunkar of Margao Police Station, and further inquiry is in progress.
