Chinchinim: Cuncolim police have registered a case against a man for allegedly trespassing into a property, damaging vehicles and threatening a family at Chinchinim in Salcete.
According to police, the complaint was filed by Donald D’Costa, a resident of Chinchinim. The incident reportedly occurred on February 23 at around 10:30 pm.
Police said the accused, identified as Pramod Yadav (address not known), allegedly criminally trespassed into the complainant’s property and damaged a motorcycle and a Wagon R car belonging to the complainant’s brother, Edgar Oswald Clodomiro Costa, which were parked outside the house.
The accused allegedly behaved aggressively, banged the main door of the house and attempted to break it open. He also reportedly damaged the window of the house by throwing a laterite stone.
Police further stated that the accused later brought a large laterite stone and damaged the Wagon R car, causing an estimated loss of around ₹60,000.
The accused also allegedly abused and criminally intimidated the complainant and his family members with dire consequences.
