Panaji: Police have registered a case against a man for allegedly preparing and using a forged licence/NOC of Novex Communications Private Limited to organise an event at DoubleTree by Hilton Goa.
According to the complaint filed by Suraj Kumar of Novex Communications Pvt Ltd, the accused, Jesus Da Costa, proprietor of Cube Arts Pvt Ltd and a resident of Colva in South Goa, allegedly prepared a forged licence/NOC of the company and produced it before the management of DoubleTree by Hilton Goa to portray it as genuine.
Police said the accused allegedly used the forged document prior to February 20, 2026, in order to organise an event at the hotel, thereby cheating Novex Communications Pvt Ltd.
Based on the complaint, an offence has been registered and further investigation is being carried out by PSI Manohar Dhulapkar.
