CALANGUTE: Calangute Police have registered a case of criminal breach of trust against a man from Tamil Nadu for failing to return a rented scooter and not paying the rent amount.
According to police, the complaint was lodged by Manoj R. Naik of Umta Waddo, Calangute, who stated that between July 24, 2025, and September 9, 2025, the accused, identified as Thirupathi Ganesan of Dindigul district, Tamil Nadu, failed to return his Yamaha Fascino scooter (GA-03-V-5886) hired on rent. The complainant also alleged that no rent payment was made during this period.
Based on the complaint, police registered an offence and said further investigation is being carried out by ASI Satish Sawant of Calangute Police Station.
