MARGAO: Unknown culprit duped Pajifond-Margao branch of Punjab National Bank to the tune of Rs 16.42 lakh.
Posed as a Director of a company, accused got Rs 16.42 lakh transferred from the company account to some other account by convincing the bank employee that he needs to transfer this amount by RTGS mode.
Cyber crime cell is investigating the case.
