QUEPEM: Bryson Faria, 27, resident of Tilamol, Quepem, was found dead by hanging at his home, police confirmed. The deceased’s brother, Briton Faria, reported the incident to authorities.
Police visited the scene and conducted the necessary legal formalities, including the Scene of Unnatural Death (UD) occurrence panchanama and inquest panchanama over the body. The post-mortem examination conducted by the police surgeon concluded that the cause of death was “asphyxia as a result of constriction of neck.”
Following the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family for disposal according to religious rites. The investigation is being handled by PSI Digamber Bondre of Quepem Police Station.
