Mapusa: Mapusa Police have registered a case against a man for engaging in gambling activities at the KTC Bus Stand, Mapusa.
According to police, the complaint was lodged on January 8, 2026, at around 2.30 pm by HC 4982 Tushar Reghunath Redkar of Mapusa Police Station. The incident occurred on the same day between 7.15 pm and 8.00 pm at the KTC Bus Stand, Mapusa, Bardez.
Police stated that the accused, Manjunath Yallappa Palled (42), residing at C/o Shambu Shetter, Canca, Bardez, was caught red-handed while carrying out gambling activities involving a game of chance.
During the operation, police seized cash amounting to ₹1,100 along with other gambling-related accessories from the possession of the accused.
Further investigation is being carried out by HC 4982 Tushar Redkar of Mapusa Police Station.
