VASCO: A case of criminal trespass has been registered at Vasco police station following a complaint by Lieutenant Commander P. Nithin, Commanding Officer of INS Hansa, Dabolim.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred on January 18, 2026, at around 10.45 am, at the DVOR area of Varunapuri within the INS Hansa premises.
The accused, identified as Mohidin Shaikh, a resident of Katem, Baina, Vasco, allegedly trespassed into the defence land, which is a restricted area, with the intention to commit an offence.
Police have registered the offence under relevant sections of law. Further investigation in the matter is being carried out by Head Constable 5445 Saish Ajgaonkar of Vasco police station.
