CANACONA: Canacona Police have arrested a man after seizing e-cigarettes worth ₹18,500 from his possession near the Char-rasta area in Canacona.
According to police, the offence was registered based on a state complaint filed by PSI Ramdas Doifode of Canacona Police Station. The incident occurred on March 9, 2026 between 2:46 pm and 6:20 pm below the highway bridge at Char-rasta, Canacona.
Police stated that the accused, identified as Pushkar Mishra, a resident of Maharashtra and native of Uttar Pradesh, was found in possession of eight boxes of e-cigarettes. The boxes contained a total of 74 packets of small e-cigarettes valued at approximately ₹18,500.
During the course of investigation, the accused was taken into custody and arrested in connection with the case.
Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Ramdas Doifode of Canacona Police Station.
