ANJUNA: Anjuna Police arrested one person in the early hours of Thursday after he was allegedly found in possession of LSD valued at nearly ₹7.9 lakh during a narcotics raid near the Siolim football ground.
According to the state complaint filed by PSI Navneet Goltekar, the raid was conducted on 4 December 2025 between 00:50 hrs and 03:40 hrs based on specific and reliable information.
During the operation, police apprehended Sahil Manohar, son of Manohar Korgaonkar, a resident of Korgao, Pernem, and originally from Ratnagiri, Maharashtra.
Police stated that Sahil was found in illegal possession of 316 paper blots of suspected LSD, weighing 6.52 grams, valued at ₹7,90,000. The narcotics were allegedly recovered from a red Maruti Suzuki Baleno (GA-03-AF-5903) present at the site.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
