Siolim: A man sustained injuries after being attacked by a bull tied near a riverbank in Siolim in the early hours of Thursday.
The incident occurred around 3.15 am when the victim, reportedly unaware of the animal’s presence in the area, was suddenly attacked.
During the incident, two other persons were also affected while trying to escape the situation.
Locals who noticed the commotion rushed to the spot and provided immediate assistance to the injured man before shifting him to Goa Medical College (GMC) for treatment.
Police have been informed and are examining the circumstances under which the bull was tied near the riverbank. Further details are awaited as the matter is being looked into.
