After almost two and half months Mangor hill will breath a sigh of relief as the micro containment zone has been lifted following assurance given by Chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Wednesday.
The South Goa Collector issued the order withdrawing the micro containment zone in Mangor hill and so also in the Khariwado, Vasco.
Mangor hill was notified as a containment zone on June 3.
The order of de-notification of the containment zones was issued on Wednesday by Collector Ajit Roy.
On August 9, while the administration had withdrawn Mangor hill from the Containment zones only a part of it had been kept in two small areas as micro containment zones as there were still cases.
