PANAJI: In the wake of a fatal accident in Guirim, Mapusa MLA Joshua D’Souza has called for the immediate completion of the pending service road along the national highway.
Expressing strong concern, D’Souza questioned the delay in the project, stating, “Are they waiting for more people to die? How many more lives need to be lost for this road to be completed?”
He emphasised that there can be no compromise when it comes to public safety.
“The service road must be completed on priority. I have requested the Chief Minister to ensure both service roads are taken up without further delay,” the MLA said.
