PANAJI: Mapusa Police has arrested Kiran Jadhav for theft of silver and cash worth Rs 5 lakhs from a jewellery shop in Mapusa.
The accused has been identified as Kiran Jadhav, a native of Nippani, Karnataka.
As per information, the ac Kiran Jadhav R/o Hupri. Kolhapur, Hatkangale. Mahrashtrastole away amount of Rs. 5,00,000/ belongs to complainant, complainant’s colleague Pranav @Yogesh Kajave from inside their residential flat.
During the course of investigation a team consisting of PSI Ashish Porob and PC6120 Prakash Polekar, was deputed at Kolhapur Maharastra who after developing information through local intelligence and technical surveillance and after meticulous efforts apprehended accused person namely Mr. Kiran Jadhav R/o Hupri, Kolhapur, Hatkangale, Mahrashtra at Kolhapur Maharashtra.
During interrogation above accused admitted of their involvement in the above crime. Accordingly accused person was placed under arrest in above crime on 04/09/2021.
Accused person has been produced before Honorable JMFC Mapusa and has been remanded to 02 days Police Custody.
