PONDA: Marcaim BJP block Committee members on Tuesday claimed that if former MLA Ravi Naik contests from Marcaim on BJP ticket, then BJP will be 101 per cent sure to win the Marcaim seat.
Vice President Sagar Mulvi, during the press conference, claimed that during the past 22 years, the incumbent Marcaim MLA failed to bring any new developmental works in Marcaim constituency and on this ground, “Marcaim voters are seriously thinking about the voting, and accordingly people will bring parivartan in Marcaim so that Marcaim constituency sees the development in the near future,” he said.
Mulvi further said only the developmental works done by the former MLA Ravi Naik are visible in Marcaim.
He further questioned on what basis will Sudin go to seek votes from the people to win the election.
“Naik has done huge development work including Marcaim Hospital, community halls, fishing jetties, Marcaim Industrial estate etc,” he said.
Mulvi said as MGP is frustrated now, it has joined hands with TMC.
Mulvi urged voters not to fall prey to fake monetary promises and schemes of MGP TMC.
“TMC party which in its own state has been providing the meagre amount to its people in the name of schemes,” he said.
He said that the BJP rule brought various schemes such as cyberage, laptop and tab to school students, and interest-free loans for higher education.
“For women, Grihaadhar scheme and Ladli Laxmi scheme. BJP fulfilled most of all promises from their manifesto,” he stated.
