MARCEL: Ponda police today arrested 3 persons in the 44-year-old Bihar Mason Harinder Prasad murder case.
The accused are identified as Cabrina Rodrigues, age 27 yrs, r/o St. Estev Old Goa, Rulasha Fernandes (23yrs), r/o Khandola Marcel and Sunil S/O Gajanand Madkaikar, (age-32 yrs), r/o Chimbel Panaji in above crime.
Prasad who was a native of Bihar was presently staying at Ameyawada Marcel. Police informed that during preliminary investigations the motive revealed is the opposition of the victim to the friendship between Cabrina and Sunil. Police informed that Rulasha and Cabrina lived in the same house.
On the night of October 30, the accused Cabrina called the victim to her house where all 3 accused assaulted the victim with wooden log.
“When he fell unconscious all 3 took the victim to St-Estev bridge at Marcel from where they threw the victim into the river down below from where a passer by noticed the victim and shifted him to PHC Betki in the morning where he was declared brought dead,” informed police.
