Margao Sports Club enter the semifinal of 15th Davorlim Cup 2024 organised by Sporting club Davorlim and played at Davorlim Panchayat ground by defeating Fr.Agnelo ysc Paroda 4-2 on Friday.
The match started on fast pace and Fr.Agnelo scored the first goal in 8th minutes of play with powerful header by Livon but their joy shortlisted as Meviton Barbosa header from corner kick lands in Paroda net and match turned on in favour of Margao as in 17th minutes Meviton Barbosa scored through penalty kick as Elroy Barreto of Margao brought down in danger area. As Match heading for half time Meviton Barbosa completed his Hatric by scoring third goal and half time Margao leading 3-1
As match began in second half Regan Costa of Fr.Agnelo Paroda scored with neat placement in 40th minutes then tempo of match turned and Paroda attack Margao defence and Selton fernandes powerful right footer hit the cross bar and out of play later on Margao scored another goal through powerful volley from the box through the boots of Myron
