Panaji:Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho on Tuesday inspected the area of Chicalim leading to the 4 lane highway and also decided to widen the road and also have a strong retaining wall along the road
Speaking to media ,Godinho said that a lot of residential complexes had been built in the area and sooner or later,there would be a huge surge in traffic.
Godinho said that presently the road already sees a lot of traffic jam in the area and assured that the works will be completed in a months time.
Meanwhile Chicalim Dy Sarpanch Kamla Prasad Yadav said that he had personally experienced a huge traffic jam on the road while going to panchayat and also that on two occasions his vehicles had brushed against another vehicles due to narrow road .
