MANDREM: BJP Minister Mauvin Godinho said that Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar should join the Bharatiya Janata Party and contest the next Assembly election on the party ticket.
“We want you to be in our party, and if you contest on our party ticket, then you will certainly win the election in Mandrem,” Godinho said, extending an open invitation to the legislator.
Responding to the proposal, Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar said he would continue working for the people and that a decision regarding the election ticket would be taken at an appropriate time. He emphasized that his immediate focus remains on serving the constituency.
“Right now, I want to continue working for the people of my constituency. The decision on the ticket can happen at the right time,” Arolkar said.
