MAYEM: Government Polytechnic Mayem in support from Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)-Goa and collaborative effort between Adhyayan Quality Education Foundation (AAQEF) and Antarang Foundation recently organised a Career Awareness programme to make the school students aware about the relevant career opportunities so as to help them make a right career decision.
A talk on career awareness to give an insight about career options was delivered by lecturer Ashish Surlakar.
Surlakar spoke about the importance of building the correct career and life aspects with respect to different careers.
At this time, students guided by the instructors, explored the laboratories of different Engineering Departments to take a feel of how the field of Engineering works.
Dr. Mahesh Dani, Head of Mechanical department addressed the students to highlight the importance of career selection.
Dani spoke about the various methods required to be studied by the students in order to achieve the targeted goal towards career.
Around 40 students along with their faculties attended the session of career awareness.
