Margao: The MCC 11 T20 cricket tournament saw two exciting encounters at the MCC Ground, with MCC Royals and MCC Masters emerging victorious in their respective matches. MCC Royals defeated MCC Knights by 23 runs, while MCC Masters beat MCC Warriors by four wickets.
In the first match, batting first, MCC Royals posted a competitive 169 for 8 in 20 overs. Key contributions came from Samrudh Bharne (34), Vijay (27), and Siddhit Raiturkar (37). For the Knights, Dinesh Pai impressed with 3 wickets for 16 runs, while Vikram Gaitonde took 2 for 25.
Chasing 170, MCC Knights were restricted to 146 all out in 18.5 overs despite notable innings from Ameet Kakode (30), Kapil D.S. Borker (35), and Siddharth Ghanekar (38).
