PANAJI: M.E.S’s Vasant Joshi College Of Arts & Commerce, Zuarinagar, won fourth consecutive times by winning Inter Collegiate Kabaddi Men Championship 2023-24 defeating Swami Vivekananda VM’s College of Commerce, Bori by a score of 45-35.
Goa University organised the Inter Collegiate Kabaddi Championship for Men 2023-24 on 12th and 13th December, 2023 at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, Goa University.
Earlier in the semis finals in the M.E.S’s Vasant Joshi College of Arts & Commerce, Zuarinagar defeated Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Quepem by a score of 73-23 and Swami Vivekananda VM’s College of Commerce, Bori defeated Shree Mallikarjun & Shri.Chetan Manju Desai College of Arts and Commerce, Canacona.by a score 44-26.
Best player was awarded to Lohit Naik of M.E.S’s Vasant Joshi College of Arts & Commerce, Zuarinagar
In total, 25 men’s teams participated in the Inter College Kabaddi Championship
Chief Guest for the presentation ceremony Prof. Nilesh Borde, Vice Dean ( Academics), Goa Bussiness School, Goa Univerity along with Mr. Balachandra Jadar, Asst. Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University presented medals and trophies to the winners and runners ups.
