New Delhi: Meta India has announced the appointment of Aman Jain as its new Head of Public Policy, entrusting him with shaping the company’s policy strategy and engagements across the country. Jain will also serve as a member of Meta India’s leadership team.
He is expected to join early next year and will report to Simon Milner, Vice President of Policy for the Asia-Pacific region.
According to the company, Jain brings over two decades of experience in public policy and business strategy, having worked with major global organisations and the Government of India. He previously served in senior roles at Google India, including country head for government affairs and public policy. Most recently, he was Director of Public Policy at Amazon, where he led policy initiatives related to marketplace operations, competition, and technology.
Milner said India remains a critical market for Meta as the nation’s digital ecosystem rapidly expands across AI, emerging technologies, and the creator economy. He added that Jain’s deep policy and tech expertise will strengthen Meta’s collaboration with regulators and industry leaders, helping build a more inclusive and future-ready internet environment in India.
Jain will also contribute to Meta’s broader Asia-Pacific policy leadership efforts.
