PONDA: Leaders of the BJP–MGP alliance expressed confidence of securing a clear majority in the upcoming Ponda by-election, stating that joint campaigning by workers of both parties is gaining momentum across the constituency.
BJP Goa President Damu Naik said party cadres from the BJP and MGP are actively reaching out to voters and strengthening grassroots support, adding that the alliance is well-positioned for victory.
Senior MGP leader and Minister Sudin Dhavalikar urged workers of both parties to adhere to alliance “dharma” and work in coordination to reinforce unity. He also clarified that he stands with loyal MGP workers and emphasized collective efforts to secure success in the by-election.
BJP candidate Ritesh Ravi Naik expressed confidence of winning with a strong margin, stating that the campaign is in full swing with joint teams from both parties reaching voters across the constituency.
MLA Govind Gaude said the contributions of late Ravi Naik will be remembered and noted that the coming days are crucial for ensuring victory. He appealed to workers to function as a united team, intensify outreach efforts and ensure maximum voter turnout on April 9 to secure a decisive mandate.
