PORVORIM: Minister and senior MGP leader Sudin Dhavalikar stated that late Manohar Parrikar brought significant and lasting changes to Goan politics, reshaping its landscape through visionary leadership and development-oriented governance.
“His legacy continues to inspire us as we move forward,” Dhavalikar said.
Speaking to the media, Dhavalikar announced that the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP), as a trusted alliance partner of the BJP, will contest the upcoming Zilla Panchayat (ZP) elections.
He emphasized the importance of unity and coordination in delivering results at the grassroots level.
“In the spirit of the alliance and guided by the developmental vision set forth by Parrikar, we will soon hold a joint meeting with the BJP leadership to finalize our strategy for the ZP polls. Our objective is clear: to strengthen local governance and ensure that every citizen benefits from the work being done,” he added.
Dhavalikar also hinted at a collaborative and inclusive approach to candidate selection and campaign planning, stressing the need to maintain stability and trust among the people.
“The people of Goa have seen what our alliance can deliver. Now, it’s time to take that same trust to the village level,” he said.
