The MGP today extended its support to double-tracking of South Western Railway line claiming that the development will help Goa in many big ways.
Addressing a press conference, MGP supremo Sudin Dhavalikar said that the party is against coal handling and coal pollution but not against double tracking of railway line.
He said that double tracking will help in transportation of wheat, cement and other products at a minimum expense.
He also said that political parties having bosses in Delhi will never be able to stop coal handling. “Only regional party led government can do that,” he said.
MGP MLA demanded that State Assembly Session be called immediately. He said if government can hold ZP polls then why not Assembly session
