PANAJI: Aam Aadmi Party (Goa) Convenor Amit Palekar today demanded that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant should resign from his position over his failure to save our Mhadei River.
“I give a call to all Goans and all MLAs to join the movement to save our River Mhadei. Everyone should unite together,” said Palekar.
He further said that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has failed the people of Goa.
“CM Sawant is speaking all lies, and he is talking without any legal aspects and background. Chief Minister should resign,” he added.
Palekar said that this movement is now to save our Mhadei for the future generation.
“Goa’s mother has been sold by a shameless Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. He did not fall short of destroying Goa’s lifeline Mhadei for political gains,” he said.
He said that it’s time to take the revolution to save our mother to the streets, and we will fight till death.
AAPs Valmiki Naik said that Chief Minister Sawant has betrayed generations of Goa.
“There will now be various announcements during the Home Minister Amit Shah’s rally in Karnataka in the wake of Assembly elections,” he added.
