PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has called for collective responsibility in strengthening mental well-being across Goa, emphasising that no individual should feel isolated in dealing with emotional or psychological challenges. In a message underscoring the importance of accessible support, Rane said many people today face silent struggles amid a fast-paced lifestyle, making it essential for society to foster openness and compassion.
Highlighting the Tele MANAS initiative, he said the state is committed to ensuring professional mental-health assistance remains within easy reach for anyone who needs it. “With the Tele MANAS initiative, we are strengthening Goa’s commitment to accessible mental health care by ensuring that professional support is always within reach. Our teams are equipped to listen, guide, and support individuals through their emotional challenges,” Rane said.
He encouraged individuals to seek help without hesitation and urged the community to promote awareness and empathy. “Mental well-being is a collective responsibility, and every voice matters. I encourage everyone to come forward, speak openly, and seek help whenever needed,” he added.
Rane said the government aims to build a Goa where compassion and mental wellness stand at the centre of community life.
