VASCO: Vasco Police have registered a case after a minor girl was injured in a road accident near Vales Junction, Dabolim, on December 1.
The complaint, filed by Meryl Colaco @ Branganza of Alto Dabolim, states that the incident occurred around 2:20 pm when the accused bus driver, allegedly driving rashly and negligently, was heading from the internal road at Vales Junction towards Landing Point.
As the bus reached Vales Junction, it reportedly struck the complainant’s daughter, who was crossing the road to return home. The impact caused the child to fall, resulting in injuries to her left shoulder, right ear, head, and other parts of the body.
Vasco Police said further investigation is being carried out by LHC Shradha Naik (5239).
