Calangute: A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped by an unknown person from Khobra Vaddo in Calangute on Thursday evening, prompting police to register a case and launch a search operation.
According to police, the offence was registered at around 3:39 am on March 6 based on a complaint filed by the girl’s father, a resident of Calangute in Bardez and a native of Gujarat.
The complainant stated that on March 5 at around 5:00 pm, an unknown accused allegedly kidnapped his minor daughter from his lawful guardianship at Khobra Vaddo, Calangute.
Police described the missing girl as approximately 150 cm in height, with a whitish complexion, thin build and long black hair. At the time she went missing, she was wearing a black half-sleeve T-shirt, pink pants and slippers.
Calangute Police have registered an offence in the matter and further investigation is in progress.
