MAINA: A case of kidnapping has been registered at the Maina Curtorim Police Station following a complaint filed by the father of a minor girl (name withheld), a resident of San Jose De Areal, Salcete, originally from Jharkhand.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred on February 1, 2026, between 5.00 am and 3.00 pm at Ralloi, San Jose De Areal, when an unknown accused allegedly kidnapped the complainant’s minor daughter from his lawful guardianship.
Police have registered an offence and initiated an investigation to trace the missing minor and identify the accused. Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Sanket Naik of Maina Curtorim Police Station.
Police have appealed to the public to share any information that may help in locating the minor or the accused.
