Ponda: Ponda police have registered a case of kidnapping following a complaint that a minor girl was abducted from Usgao in Ponda taluka.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred on December 24, 2025, between 3 pm and 4 pm at Nirmala Farm Poultry World, Usgao.
The complainant alleged that unknown accused person(s) kidnapped his minor daughter from his lawful guardianship.
Police have registered an offence in the matter and launched an investigation to trace the missing child and identify those involved.
Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Krishna Gawas of Ponda Police Station.
