Velsao: Verna Police have registered a case following a complaint filed by the father of a minor girl, a resident of Velsao, Mormugao, originally hailing from Bihar. According to the complaint, the incident occurred on 01 January 2026.
The complainant stated that his minor daughter left their residence at around 3.00 pm on the said day and did not return home. After making efforts to trace her, the father expressed strong suspicion that some unknown person may have kidnapped the minor girl from his lawful guardianship.
Based on the complaint, Verna Police have taken cognisance of the matter and initiated necessary legal action.
Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Rajdatt Arsekar of Verna Police Station.
Police have appealed to the public to share any information that may help in tracing the missing minor girl.
