Cortalim: A case of a missing minor girl has been registered at Verna Police Station following a complaint filed by her mother, a resident of Cortalim and native of Bihar.
According to the complaint, the minor girl left her residence on January 2, 2026, at around 5.00 pm without informing any family member and failed to return home thereafter. After making efforts to locate her daughter, the complainant approached the police and expressed strong suspicion that a man identified as Rajiv Paswan, a native of Bihar who was reportedly friendly with the minor, may have kidnapped her from the lawful guardianship of her parents.
Based on the complaint, police have initiated necessary legal proceedings and launched a search operation to trace the missing girl.
Further investigation in the case is being carried out by PSI Mahesh Bhomkar of Verna Police Station.
