COLVALE: Colvale Police have detained two more people in connection with a kidnapping case.
According to the police, on July 5, a kidnapping case was filed under Section 137(2) of the BNS Act 2023 and Section 8 of the GCA 2003, in which four people were accused of kidnapping two juvenile girls.
However, only two of the four accused, Arbaz Khan (20) of Duler, Mapusa, and Sabir Betageri (26), of Waddlem Bhat, Taleigao, were apprehended on July 8, while the other two remained at large.
Later, utilizing technical monitoring and information obtained from reputable sources, the Colvale Police arrested the two other suspects yesterday.
The defendants have been named as Ibran Shah (26) and Subhash Kumar (26), both Colvale residents.
