CURTORIM: Maina-Curtorim Police have registered Cr. No. 98/2025 under Sections 281, 125(a)(b) of the BNS and Sections 3 and 180 of the MV Act after a minor riding a motorcycle caused a collision at Phullamol, Sao Jose De Areal.
According to the state complaint filed by ASI Anant Gaonkar, the incident occurred on November 29, 2025, at 7:32 pm. The accused, Pradnya Jolapure of Mugali, Sao Jose De Areal, allegedly allowed her minor son to ride a Jawa motorcycle. The boy, reportedly driving rashly and negligently, crashed into an oncoming Jupiter scooter.
The impact caused grievous injuries to the pillion rider, Mobin Ansari of Nessai, Salcete (native of Bihar), while the scooter rider, Hasmusddin Ansari, also of Nessai, sustained simple injuries. The minor boy riding the Jawa was also injured.
Further investigation is being conducted by ASI Anant Gaonkar of Maina Curtorim Police Station.
