PONDA: In an accident at Usgao near the MRF factory between the container truck and the bike this morning at 7 am, the two-wheeler was almost trapped under the wheels, but the rider had a miraculous escape.
The rider, identified as Ghanashyam Kukalekar ( 39 ) r/o Taleigao, sustained injuries and was immediately shifted to Goa Medical College (GMC) for treatment .
As per the information, the riders condition is stable. Locals have demanded the closure of U-turn near the MRF factory as well as illegal roadside parking.
Earlier also fatal accidents are occured and locals strongly opposed roadside parking.
