Health Secretary Nila Mohanan has admitted that MLA Clafasio Dias has tested positive for COVID19 again but he requires special treatment for pulmonary infection, which is available only at GMC.
She informed that MLA Clafasio Dias, has given written consent to continue his treatment in GMC as medical facilities for his pulmonary treatment is available only in GMC.
Clafasio, who tested negative for COVID last week, after almost a month long treatment, tested positive again and the heath secretary says it could be the traces of dead COVID virus.
“There are chances such patients again come positive due to remnants of virus in their body. There is no need for him to be shifted back to Covid Hospital,” she said.
