MLA Cruz Silva Inaugurates “Auxilium Computer Training Center”*

Ambelim: In a significant move to enhance digital literacy and bridge the technological gap in Ambelim, MLA Cruz Silva has inaugurated the “Auxilium Computer Training Center.” This initiative, funded through the MLA Local Area Development (LAD) funds, is a collaborative effort with the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco, who will manage the center. The state-of-the-art facility is designed to provide essential digital skills and education, marking a crucial step in the community’s technological advancement.
MLA Cruz Silva officially opened the “Auxilium Computer Training Center” in Ambelim, a project that has been made possible through the MLA Local Area Development funds. The center, under the stewardship of the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco, is equipped with advanced technology to facilitate comprehensive learning. The facility boasts 15 desktop computers, a projector, a smart TV, 15 chairs with writing pads, 15 computer tables, three white wall boards, and a printer.
The primary objective of the “Auxilium Computer Training Center” is to empower local youth and adults by equipping them with essential computer skills and digital literacy. Through a range of training programs, participants will gain proficiency in computer applications and other IT skills, significantly enhancing their job prospects and fostering lifelong learning. This initiative is particularly important in today’s technology-driven world, where digital skills are paramount for career advancement and community development.
