VASCO: Passport services have now come closer to the people with the inauguration of the Mobile Passport Seva Van at the Vasco Municipality Office. The facility was launched today by NRI Commissioner Narendra K. Sawaikar, in the presence of officials and media representatives. The initiative aims to provide passport-related services directly in people’s own cities, eliminating the need to travel to the Panjim head office. This step will be a major relief for citizens, especially senior citizens, who earlier faced difficulties and long waits to obtain passports. Officials said the mobile service will speed up the process and ensure greater convenience for the public. The event was organized by the Regional Passport Office, Goa, with cooperation from the Ministry of External Affairs.
