Verna: The South Goa District Disaster Management Authority, in association with the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), the Verna Industries Association and various line departments of the Government of Goa, conducted a mock drill on chemical disaster management at Lupin Pharma in Verna on Sunday.
The exercise aimed at strengthening preparedness, building response capacity and spreading awareness on handling chemical emergencies. Officials said the drill helped assess coordination among different agencies during disaster situations.
The mock exercise received a positive response and highlighted the importance of preparedness and timely action during industrial emergencies.
