PANAJI: Alcove Triveni Omniplex officially opened its doors with a grand soft launch in Hooghly District, marking the arrival of the region’s first organized shopping mall. The launch drew an enthusiastic response from visitors, families and shoppers who gathered to experience the new lifestyle destination located on G.T. Road at Mahesh in Serampore.
The opening day witnessed a steady flow of visitors exploring the mall’s newly opened retail outlets, dining options and entertainment spaces. The soft launch offered the local community a first glimpse of a modern retail environment designed to meet the rising demand for organized shopping and leisure experiences in Hooghly and nearby areas.
A festive atmosphere filled the venue as the launch featured live music performances, interactive selfie zones and special opening offers for shoppers. Families and young visitors were particularly attracted to the Kids Fun Zone called Space Jump, which provided an exciting recreational space for children and added to the celebratory mood of the event.
Several well known retail and food brands began operations during the initial phase of the launch. Among the outlets that opened for customers were Zudio, V Mart, Baazar Kolkata, Safari, Domino’s, Subway and Tea Junction. Additional stores and brands are expected to open gradually in the coming phases as the mall expands its offerings.
Spread across nearly 2.5 lakh square feet and built over seven floors, Alcove Triveni Omniplex has been designed as a large scale retail and entertainment hub. The development will eventually accommodate more than 100 stores along with dedicated zones for dining, entertainment, office spaces and hospitality services.
A key highlight of the project will be a four screen multiplex operated by SVF Cinemas. With a seating capacity of around 800, the cinema complex is expected to open soon and will provide a modern movie viewing experience for audiences in the region.
With its strategic location and diverse range of retail and leisure options, Alcove Triveni Omniplex is expected to emerge as a major destination for shopping, dining and entertainment in Hooghly District.
