PANAJI: IMD today said that the normal date of arrival of monsoon over Goa is June 5.
“Normal date of arrival of monsoon over Goa is 5th June, A circulation lies off coast of Karnatka at 3.1km above mean sea level,” IMD said
The weather bulletin further says thay conditions are likely to become favourable for onset of Southwest Monsoon over Kerala around 31st May 2021.
“Fairly widespread rainfall is very likely to continue over Goa, Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning very likely at isolated places on 29th, 30th & 31st May,” IMD update says
