GOAVELHA: Montessori Primary School celebrated Christmas day in School on 18th Dec. The theme “Light a candle in someone’s darkness” was powerfully conveyed through acting, highlighting how each one of us can light a candle in other people’s life. Various Christmas-themed activities were held like carols, crib, dances, bible quiz, fancy dress & Christmas creativity exhibition. The student’s handiwork was impressive & much appreciated. The event concluded with a fellowship and unity gathering. The Chief guest, Brother Malvino Alfonso (OCD) and the Guests of Honour, Shri Gurunand Amonkar and Mrs. Jasmina Rosario appreciated the work of the school. The Students and the gathering had a radiant funfilled day.
Earlier, the Headmistress, Mrs. Marianinha D’souza, welcomed the guests, Mrs. Sujata Kalshetty proposed the vote of thanks and Mrs. Sandra Fernandes compered the Programme and kept the crowd entertained & engaged.
