Vasco: Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar convened a joint meeting with the fisheries department to address issues of traditional fishermen.
Speaking to reporters, he said separate sites were identified for parking over 500 boats for both Baina and Desterro tradition fisherman associations so that they don’t have to move to other locations to park canoes in monsoons.
“Other long pending demand of net bending shed and site for boat repairs will be undertaken soon,” he said.
