PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that the state government has 63 departments and each department have various welfare schemes and facilities for citizens, but most people are unaware of it.
“We have more than 63 Departments, and each Department has various Welfare schemes and facilities for citizens, but most people are unaware about it. The initiative like the Sarkar Tumcha Daari program will help to make people aware of various schemes,” said CM Sawant.
He further said he has completed 2.5 years as Chief Minister, and in this period, “I have worked round the clock for the betterment of Goa. I reiterate Government’s commitment towards providing basic infrastructure and facilities to the citizens, and while celebrating 60 years of Goa liberation, our Government will provide all the basic facilities to the people,” he added.
The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister has launched several schemes intending to give better life and financial support to the people and make every citizen Swayampurna.
He said in history that the prime minister will interact with all the Swayampurna Mitra’s and Sarpanch via Video conference for the first time. “All the Swayampurna Mitra’s will take the feedback of Sarkar Tumcha Daari programme from the public,” he added.
