MAPUSA: Goa Police have launched an investigation into the theft of a motorcycle reported from Mapusa last month.
According to police, a complaint was lodged on October 10, 2025, at 2:55 pm by Mr. Nagappa Managuli, aged 30 years, resident of House No. 205/B, Afonsowado, Cavelossim, Salcete, South Goa.
The complainant reported that on September 12, 2025, at around 1:40 pm, an unknown accused person, with a common intention to commit theft, stole his red and black Hero Glamour motorcycle (Registration No. GA-08 AG-9245, Chassis No. MBLJA06ANFGJ02661, Engine No. JA06EJFGJ02408, Model 09/2015) worth approximately ₹45,000.
The motorcycle was parked in an open parking area opposite Muthoot Finance Ltd, near Novelty Sports, Mapusa, Bardez, when it was stolen.
The investigation is being conducted by Head Constable Vijay Gadekar (HC 4839) of Mapusa Police Station.
Police said efforts are underway to trace the accused and recover the stolen vehicle.
